Quilting Services

SERVICES

Available to give lectures, trunk shows, workshops, and provide longarm machine quilting services.  The cost of travel, lodging and meals are the responsibility of the guild or organization scheduling the event.  Due to actual quilts being shown in the trunk shows, I prefer to drive anywhere within 300 miles.  In that case, travel cost will be at the IRS mileage rate.  This is a small sampling of the services I offer.  I’ve taught classes and/or lectured for quilt guilds, sewing centers, and retreats.

LECTURES

  Things That Disappears

Lecture that shows how various blocks can be manipulated, starting with nine patches through log cabin blocks.  Your group will be amazed at the techniques presented.  This is also a trunk show of quilts using most of the techniques with additional ideas to enhance the finished quilt.

My WIPS (featuring quilt rulers)

This lecture, happened by circumstance.  My quilt guild needed me to provide a lecture two hours before the guild meeting as the scheduled speaker had a family emergency and couldn’t make it.  I stood in my room and decided to pull my favorite quilting specialty rulers.  Most of them were packed with a WIP so I brought those along as well.  I was inspired by the audience to keep this as an option.

Scrap Quilts

New items are constantly added to this lecture.  If you haven’t seen quilts within the last three years, you’re missing a treat.
