Teajuana's Dear Jane - Scrappy Jane

I finally got the Dear Jane bug.  Here is how it happened:  April 2004 I purchased the Dear Jane CD from AQS through my guild because I was getting a great deal due to the bulk ordering.  That week, (7/13/2004), I installed the program and began playing.  The software is so organized and user friendly that I spent at least a couple of hours exploring.  Somewhere I got bit.  I made the first block, then the next day made 3 blocks, and the next day I would have made more, but I had a guild meeting after work.  Hopefully, I will keep motivated and continue to add Dear Jane blocks.  As you may already know, these blocks are all 5" unfinished; 4.5" finished.  Here I go with another UFO!

NEW... I started a Dear Jane group that began September 20, 2008.  The three members had previously started work on the Dear Jane blocks but haven't for the last 2-3 years.  The goal is to make at least 5 blocks a month.  So, I'll update the website as we go along.

Click on the "View Block Chart" below.  When you get there, click each photo to see a larger version of the block.

My Dear Jane progress so far.  Center, top, border, and right borders are sewn together.  I'm now working on the bottom row and have 9 more triangles and 1 kite to finish.  Click "view block chart" above to see individual block photos.
