Works in Progress I have listed about half of them on the site for your viewing pleasure.

Round Tuit pattern available from Paper Panache

As of 3/1/2011, I have 140 Works-in-Progress!

How do I know?  I keep a database and add new projects including project title, for whom the quilt is being made, begin date, end date, and pertinent notes about what has/hasn't been done.  I GIVE UP!!  This list keeps growing instead of getting smaller.  I've decided to look at all my WIPs and assign any of them I don't want for myself to family members.  That way, I can complete some UFOs and tackle my family list of quilts I need to make which is currently 15 more.  I've been diligently working on the list since 2006.

Linked Chains - a Billie Lauder design.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to add another border to this one but maybe it just needs to be quilted and done. 3/2007 Tulip Flowers - I have hand sewn the tips down to make the tulips appear but don't have a photo.  It's now ready to be quilted and don't quite know why it's not a completed project. 2/2007

Rose of Picardy - a mystery tour quilt that I added more fabrics to to make larger.  It's ready to be quilted. 12/2006 Noodles - This is my second noodle quilt.  I gave the first one to my cousin and had to make another but I haven't gotten around to quilt it. 5/2007

NEW Setting for a BOM from a local quilt shop. All the blocks are completed just need to set aside time to put them together. Wicked Easy Quilt   I THINK THIS ONE IS COMPLETED.

Embroidered Baskets - Beginning in May 2007 began making hand embroidered baskets.  The goal is two baskets per month.  Click on the basket graphic to see the baskets as they are made.  Added 4 new blocks.

NEW I enjoyed making this Pineapple Nine Patch quilt.  I started this quilt to make me a red/white (cream really) quilt as I didn't have one.  We'll come to find after I started that I already have a red and cream quilt and a red and white wall hanging.  So much for my memory. 7/2010

NEW Strip tease was so much fun to make!  I have a tutorial on my blog that shows you how to make your very own.  Click on free patterns link in the header for the link. 6/2010 NEW Pushin' up Spring - I love scrap quilts and the thought of piecing with appliqué tempted me to make a few of the blocks.  I hope to make 9 of them but we'll have to see about that.  The pattern is available from Apple Blossom Quilts.5/2010

NEW Staycation is a pattern from Lyn Brown.  The pattern uses a dark background but I wanted to see what a light background with scraps pulled from a control color way would look like.  I'm very pleased with the result. 6/2010

Autumn Braid - I didn't know that making braids could be so much fun.  Began 9-24-06 ready for quilting

NEW  started this project in 2008 and then got distracted with the technique, making 3 more tops.  All of them are  un-quilted.  If you've never tried the X-Blocks ruler, you're in for a treat. 2008 NEW Mock log cabin - A great design using such a simple block.  I decided on this asymmetrical setting resulting in an interesting log cabin setting. 9/2009

NEW Instant Karma is a pattern by Lyn Brown and it was quick to cut and piece.  My great niece want a pink, orange and purple quilt and this is it.  After it's quilted it will have purple binding. 7/2010 NEW I'd made a small tessellation pinwheels quilt a few years ago.  I'd been collecting squares to make one bed size but just the massiveness of it all prevented a start.  I decided to make smaller pinwheel blocks using background to get the quilt large enough.  This is m results after a few days.  I decided I only wanted to use each fabric once so I need to collect more squares to finish it. 10/2010

NEW This was a mystery project from Patchwork Times but not a mystery to me.  I still need to add two more borders before I can call it done.  Maybe this would be a great quilt for my husband.  6/2010 NEW Arrowhead blocks made from Anita Grossman Solomon's technique.  Very clever way to make the blocks without templates.  I plan to make more blocks when I get time to play. 10/2010

NEW This is one of my Just String Series quilt called Drunkard's Path.  I had so much fun making the blocks and determining my setting. May 2007 (started some of the DP string blocks) NEW I ordered a Fassett FQ bundle and decided to add Kona cotton solids to break up the bold prints.  It's now ready for quilting. 10/2010

NEW ABC panel that I just fell in love with.  I may keep this one for myself when its completed. 9/2010 NEW Sampler made with 100 Blocks Vol. 2.  Need to add final two borders.  This top was made with Frolic fabric collection.

NEW Quilt possibility from four blocks with a winter theme from Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 2.  NEW Trip Around the World - this project will go to someone in my family.  The top is now sewn together and I need to figure out borders. 12/2010

Of course I have more UFOs.  Go Here
